I am a licensed guide for Florence, Siena and their respective provinces.

I love to explore hidden corners, nooks and crannies to surprise my guests.

New Horizons offers many opportunities for groups, families and individuals.

Florence Introduction is a tour that explores the layout of the city and includes a brief visit to the Accademia museum to see the original statue of David by Michelangelo.

Hidden Florence explores façade patterns, “wine doors,” medieval tower-houses and noble Renaissance palaces.

The Uffizi tour allows the visitor to see masterpieces from a new point of view—an experienced guide can unravel
both the highlights and secrets of the Florentine Renaissance.

Frescoes in Chapels provides a glimpse into a restorer’s studio to learn about restoration and how frescoes are made.   The restorer will later take us to the actual sights to see works on site, which could be a private chapel in a church, a monastery, a museum or a palace.

The neighborhoods of Siena tour takes the visitor through the Mangia Tower, Owl, and Wilderness neighborhoods (contrade) to learn about Siena and the famous Palio horse race.  After lunch we visit the spectacular 14th century hospital, Santa Maria della Scala to meander through this lesser-known jewel.  Founded to provide care for pilgrims on their way to Rome, fifteenth century frescoes show doctors actually treating patients.

I also enjoy doing custom tours, trips to Chianti, San Gimignano, Montalcino, and hiking/walking tours.  Ci vediamo presto a Firenze!
