The Autumn Launch of ‘Centro Pecci Night’ 2026

Centro Pecci comes alives once a month after dark

October 2: Centro Pecci Night: What if I Could Enter Inside? 7 pm to 12 am. Admission €10.50.  Viale della Repubblica 277, Prato, 20 minutes north of Florence.

Centro Pecci will be hosting its monthly event, featuring exhibitions open until midnight along with live music, talks, and performances from various artists. During these hours, visitors will have a chance to see the exhibitions and experience live art that changes hourly.

Kicking the event off is Epimoric with a live screen-printing shop, providing the opportunity for audience members to get an item of theirs screen-printed if they bring their own garment. At 8pm Michele Bertolino will be talking about Lorenza Longhi’s current one-of-a-kind exhibition at the Centro Picci entitled VILLA DELIZIA. Kinkaleri and Jacopo Benassi will be performing at 9pm where they display the unpredictable relation between body and sound from a camera’s point of view. From 10 pm until midnight More Eaze will be providing live music followed by the event “DOVESEIIII” by KLm&guests.

With access to the museum’s exhibitions all evening, Lorenza Lenghi’s “VILLA DELIZIA” is one that is worth visiting and a perfect introduction to Prato culture through her use of locally sourced fabrics and everyday furniture. The other extraordinary exhibitions opening for the night include Carlo Palli’s “ROTTE” and “We Are the Revolution” by Serena Becagli. Palli is Prato local and collector whose exhibition is an ode to his hometown through his favorite routes. Becagli’s heartfelt pieces are representative of the power of art and raise awareness about dementia. These exhibitions are only open for several more months, so this evening is a perfect time to see them..

As for transportation, Centro Picci has a shuttle bus with limited seats that departs from Florence at 7pm to the museum in Prato for just €11. To purchase this ticket, you must go to the website and select “Full price + round trip shuttle,” and arrive at the Vittorio Veneto Terminal, Piazza Vittorio Veneto, at least 10 minutes before departure. The shuttle bus leaves Centro Pecci to return to Florence at 11:30 pm. Alternatively, a regular ticket can be purchased on the website for €10.50 with reduced prices available.

This event will only be hosted two more times this year: November 6  December 4, and it is a social and cultural adventure that is unforgettable. (Jessica Porter)
