Because of a heavy snowfall, the Abetone ski resort will remain open through the Easter holiday until April 12.
Abetone comprises distinct areas accessed by 17 interconnecting lifts, totaling 30 miles (48 km) of pistes, all accessible with a single Multipass ticket.
Abetone can be reached via train to Pistoia, then by AT bus right outside the station. Bus tickets can be purchased at the newspaper stand inside the station or directly across the street from the station at the AT (Autolinee Toscane) ticket office.
