Tuscan Plane Crash, 2 Deaths

A tragic accident caused the death of a pilot and co-pilot of a small plane near Cecina, province of Livorno, on June 11.  A parachutist became entangled in the plane’s tail, damaging it, before landing unharmed.  The plane, of Swiss manufacture, then crashed.  The casualties were a 37 year old native of Rome and a 28 year old resident of Turin.  To read more in Italian, visit Florence’s La Repubblica news site.
