Tulip Garden Opens to the Public in Scandicci

Seventy varieties of tulips have been planted and are blooming in a new park in downtown Scandicci.  Located in via della Resistenza, close to the Resistenza tram stop, the green space spans nearly three acres and is currently a profusion of color.  Part of the “Wander and Pick” project sponsored by the town of Scandicci, visitors are invited to freely walk around the garden and choose two flowers to take home.  Admission is €3; access is free for students from the Scandicci school system.
