The Kiev Symphony Orchestra conducted by Volodymyr Sheiko will give a special performance at the Auditorium Enrico Caruso in Torre del Lago on Friday, January 8 (8:30 pm). The program comprises compositions by Mussorsgky, music from Tchaikovsky’s Sleeping Beauty, in addition to Richard Strauss’s dance music: Gypsy Baron, Klip Klap Galop, the Luxury Train Polka, the Bandit’s Gallop, Tales from the Vienna Woods Waltz and the Voices of Spring waltz. The ensemble has been invited to grace the stages of the world’s most important theatres, and is also known for their more than 200 recordings.
