Starting August 1, regional train tickets in Tuscany will be valid only for a maximum of 24 hours from the date indicated when purchased instead of the present two months. Expiration will be midnight on the day of use. Until July 31, tickets acquired for regional travel can be used within the two months from when they are bought, and must stamped before boarding, which some people never do.
